Terms of service

What we do

• We send follow-up messages to your past customers under your business’s name: quote check-ins, seasonal reminders written for your trade, a check-in and a review request after each job, and a thank-you reply to good reviews.
• An AI assistant answers simple questions from the prices and facts you approve. Anything else goes to you, or to whoever you choose at your business.
• We check the AI’s conversations every weekday, and every Monday we email you last week’s bookings.
• Setup is free: we do it with you on a call, or you can do it yourself.

Price

• Your card goes on file at sign-up. Nothing is charged until your 3rd booked job.
• Then it’s C$297 a month, plus [HST, IF IT APPLIES]. Any month with no booked job is free. There’s no setup fee.
• Founding shops: our first 5 businesses keep C$297 a month for two years from sign-up.
• We’ll email you at least 30 days before any price change.

What counts as a booked job

One you confirmed: an online booking you didn’t turn down, a requested time you confirmed, or a job from a customer the system invited in the last 60 days. You can strike a job that didn’t happen, or that was booked before we first contacted the customer: tell us in your Monday reply.

Your part

• You give us the customer details the system needs, and confirm they come from your own business and that you may use them to contact those customers.
• You approve the prices and facts the AI uses, and tell us when they change.
• You answer hand-offs and booking requests, in the LeadConnector app or by phone.
• You tell us in your Monday reply about any booked job that didn’t happen.

Our part

• Every message carries your business’s name and a way to stop. Offers go by text only to customers who said yes in writing.
• Anyone who asks to stop gets one confirmation and no more marketing or follow-up messages from you through us. If they write to you again, the system may answer that message (for example, with safety advice in an emergency) and alert you.
• Safety alerts reach you directly, at any hour. If you haven’t answered one, we call you about it within one business day.
• Your customer list is used only for your business, never sold, and deleted within 30 days if you leave.

Limits

• SuddenEdge isn’t an emergency service. Safety replies tell customers to call 911 or a 24-hour service, and the work and advice your business gives are yours.
• The AI answers only from your approved facts and we check its conversations every weekday, but it can still make mistakes.
• We don’t promise a number of jobs or any other result.

Cancelling

Cancel any time by text or email. We stop the messages within one business day and don’t charge for any month after the one you cancel in.

Changes and law

We’ll email you at least 30 days before these terms change. They’re governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.
